MaxForce™ is Fenetex's patented fixed-track motorized hurricane screen system — engineered specifically for high-wind and extreme exposure applications where standard retractable screen systems are neither appropriate nor code-compliant.
The MaxForce system uses a patented reinforced fixed track that holds under extreme wind loads without the lateral screen displacement, blowouts, and rewraps that affect lesser systems in hurricane conditions. The track mechanism is the product of nearly two decades of real-world hurricane exposure testing, including performance through multiple major storm events along the Florida coast. The MaxForce track is an evolution of the fixed-track design proven in high-wind applications globally — and it is the only retractable screen system on the market tested and certified to the Miami-Dade High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) standard.
MaxForce meets or exceeds Miami-Dade and Florida Building Code requirements for roll-down hurricane screens. It is rated for the 185 MPH wind zone, certified to TAS 201, 202, 203 and ASTM E1886, E1996, E330, with design pressure up to +/- 200 PSF. Florida Product Approval: FL# 8637R11.

The Miami-Dade High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) is the most demanding hurricane building code in the United States. Products that meet HVHZ are certified for the full range of hurricane exposure — including Category 5 storm conditions. MaxForce is one of a very small number of retractable screen systems in the world to hold this certification.
When a project is located in a wind-rated zone, coastal area, or jurisdiction requiring hurricane protection documentation, MaxForce provides the certification stack that satisfies the AHJ, the structural engineer, and the owner's representative — without the value-engineering conversations that follow when a non-certified system is specified.

When hurricane-force winds hit a screen in a fixed track, the screen has nowhere to go — which is exactly the point. The fabric blocks up to 95% of UV rays, resists wind-driven rain and debris, and maintains structural integrity through storm conditions. UV protection is built into the fiber, not a surface coating that degrades over time.
